Overall, my grantwriting strategy is aggressive. I find that in this community an effective strategy is to complete multiple applications for multiple funding sources. Typically, this kind of strategy involves a low success rate but a high number of grant submissions, leading to more money overall. However, my win rate is around 60 percent. I typically do not write federal grants.

Summary: Technology grants are relatively easy wins with the right grant writer. Illustrating a continuum of benefit from the users to the community will present an easily sustainable, high-ROI project.
